Technology demonstration

Waltham, MA—Gaining wide experience in the areas of computer-aided design (CAD), engineering, manufacturing, and construction, AMC Bridge continues to research integrated solutions for CAD platforms. Thus, we are happy to present the Feature-Based Proprietary CAD Data Translation technology demonstration.

As a test use case, the technology demonstration establishes interaction between the SOLIDWORKS® integrated design environment and the Onshape® product development platform using the Onshape REST API and SOLIDWORKS API that contain a feature-by-feature description of the model.

Feature-Based Proprietary CAD Data Translation demonstrates the possibility to automatically reconstruct a SOLIDWORKS model in the Onshape environment and reconstruct an Onshape model in the SOLIDWORKS environment.

Watch this demo video to see Feature-Based Proprietary CAD Data Translation in action.

If you are interested in learning more about the demonstrated technologies and how they can be utilized for your organization’s needs, please contact us to discuss the details.
