AMC Bridge completed the research on automated creation of shaft components in Onshape® with a Proof of Concept application. 

Shaft Component Generator for Onshape enables users to create multi-diameter shafts of various level of complexity by configuring shaft sections and additional design elements, such as chamfers, fillets, grooves, etc.
