Machine Learning Formula Scanner is a technology demonstration of optical character recognition and reconstruction of mathematical formulas and expressions from images. It converts formula images to editable expressions and saves the converted formulas to a Microsoft Word document.
With ML Formula Scanner, users can:
- Upload a PNG, JPEG, TIFF, or WEBP image file containing a formula to ML Formula Scanner.
- View the formula on the ML Formula Scanner web page.
- Convert the image into an editable formula.
- Save the reconstructed formula to a Microsoft Word document.
Supported symbols and representations: Greek, Latin, and special mathematical symbols, summations, subscripts, superscripts, fractions, brackets, indices, exponents, radicals, mathematical functions, series, and integrals.
Supported file formats: PNG, JPEG, TIFF, WEBP, DOCX.
Requirements:
- The latest version of Google Chrome™, Mozilla Firefox™, or Microsoft Edge® web browser.
