Steel Structures Drawings Manager is a technology demonstration of establishing a bidirectional connection between Autodesk® Advance Steel and Autodesk® Vault. 

Using Steel Structures Drawings Manager, you can register, store, and retrieve Autodesk Vault documents directly from Advance Steel. 

The technology demonstration lets you: 

  • Import PLM documents to Advance Steel from Vault.
  • Export PLM documents from Advance Steel to Vault.
  • Support files and references in an active Advance Steel session.
  • Check in and check out Vault documents directly from Advance Steel.
  • Undo Check Out.
  • Retrieve document information from Vault.
  • Revise Vault documents directly from Advance Steel.

Requirements:

  • An Autodesk account.
  • Autodesk Advance Steel 2018.
  • Autodesk Vault 2018.
