Michael is the co-founder, CEO, and CFO for AMC Bridge LLC. Under his direction the company has grown to become a world-class technical team specializing in CAD/CAM, engineering and product lifecycle applications, as well as, cloud technologies.
Michael collaborates with the other company executives in the US and Ukraine to oversee the company’s strategic planning and development. He has been instrumental in developing the company’s internal processes, vision, structure and policies. In his CFO capacity, Michael is responsible for the company’s financial reporting and management.
Michael began his career in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine where he worked for several institutions as a research scientist. After immigrating to the United States in 1991, he held technical leadership positions at the bioengineering firm, Lonza Inc.
Michael holds an MS degree in Physics and a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Dnepropetrovsk University.
Igor Tsinman is the president and co-founder of AMC Bridge LLC. Igor is responsible for setting up strategic directions as well as the practical implementation of the company’s business development activities. He also supervises the Marketing and PR departments as well as the AMC Bridge LLC collaboration with Ukrainian Universities.
Igor’s experience with American business practices coupled with his deep technical knowledge give him a unique skill set enabling him to effectively communicate and ensure productive client interactions. He is especially skilled in matching the client’s business requirements with the right technology and development processes. This enables him to work effectively with both start-ups and established technology leaders helping them to quickly bring their software ideas from the white board into commercial production.
Igor was instrumental in acquiring the company’s initial clients and he lead the initiative to create the company’s now highly respected software development center in the Ukraine.
A 28-year veteran of software engineering and IT, Igor spent 8 years working in the Ukraine and 20 years in the U.S. He is an expert in offshore software development with a clear understanding of how to do it right. He has made several presentations on effective outsourcing at the MIT 100K competition, Mass Challenge, Boston Product Managers Association (BPMA), SaaS University and the 3D Insiders Summit.
Prior to co-founding AMC Bridge LLC, Igor held engineering leadership positions at a variety of U.S. software companies including: Torrent Systems, TRUE Software, IDD Information Services, NPC Freight Services, and Parametric Technology Corporation. In all these positions, he was able to manage distributed projects, implement complex design and architecture, and ensure smooth information flow between the business and technical parts of the organizations.
Igor holds an MS in physics from Dnepropetrovsk University. He has a U.S. patent on distributed system architecture and has published several papers on software development, and advanced simulation systems.
With over 650 employees and 13 direct peers, Vadym manages Operations at AMC Bridge. As a COO, he oversees daily activities in Operations, HR, Recruitment and IT, along with designing, planning and implementing business strategy and internal processes.
Vadym joined the company in 2000 as the first employee in the Ukraine. He was instrumental in creation of the company’s Dnepropetrovsk development center and its progress from a small regional outlet to a powerful development team - now recognized as one of the best mid-size teams in the city. He is currently responsible for aligning the company’s strategic goals while optimizing day-to-day operations. He provides leadership to the back-office functions and directs the automation of internal and external business processes.
Vadym has more than 20 years of diverse software development experience and a proven record of project management. Prior to AMC Bridge, Vadym was a software engineer, senior scientist, and the head of the Groundwater Simulation Laboratory in the Ukrainian State Institute for Geological Surveys. He spent more than 10 years developing and implementing MIF software that conducted numerical simulation of groundwater flow and transport. In 1999, Vadym was a guest scientist at the Environmental Research Centre at Leipzig-Halle in Germany. There, he developed software tools to simulate groundwater oxygen transport and he created data structures and mathematical basics to model kinetic reactive biochemical transports.
Vadym holds an MS in applied mathematics from the Dnepropetrovsk Institute of Railroad Transport Engineers. He is the author/co-author of more than 30 technical publications on mathematical simulation and software development.
Boris Shoov has over 20 years of industry experience in the business of software design and development. Boris directs company’s efforts in growing client base in the mechanical and AEC software markets, while managing the Sales and Account Management teams. As a Board Member participating in setting the company’s strategic directions, he is responsible for forming business alliances, developing and maintaining partnerships and relationships with vendors.
Before joining AMC Bridge, for 18 years Boris has held a number of various positions at Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corporation, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 1995, then moving to managing development teams, and then to an executive position, directing a department. Focusing on research, development and release of the world class SolidWorks product offerings, Boris was managing international development teams spread over 6 countries. His experience of working over a year in the United Kingdom and two years in the Dassault Systèmes headquarters in France will be invaluable for building AMC Bridge’s international relationships.
Prior to SolidWorks, Boris was working at PTC Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, developing its flagship Pro/ENGINEER (later Creo) 3D Modeling application. And before that, as a Mechanical Engineer designing and providing engineering support for manufacturing of automatic assembly lines for mechatronic devices.
For the inventions during his career in mechanical and software engineering, Boris was awarded National and International Patents.
Boris earned a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering at Moscow State University of Oil and Gas. He completed Computer Science courses at Harvard Extension School and received training in Product Management and certification from Pragmatic Marketing.
