AMC Bridge introduced beta release of extension to SolidWorks Enterprise PDM to support KOMPAS-3D files

RANDOLPH, NJ - AMC Bridge has introduced beta version of file format plug-in for SolidWorks Enterprise PDM that extends its functionality with support of models and drawings created in Ascon KOMPAS-3D software.

The main features of Support for KOMPAS -3D files in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM extension are:

  • Customizable file data card to work with KOMPAS-3D files
  • Graphical preview of KOMPAS-3D assemblies, parts and drawings in SolidWorks Enterprise PDM
  • Awareness of document bindings and relations during Check-in, Check Out, Copy Tree operations
  • Support for KOMPAS-3D files at all tabs of SolidWorks Enterprise PDM:
    • File Data Card
    • BOM
    • Contains
    • Where Used
  • Management of document attributes and custom properties from SolidWorks Enterprise PDM environment
  • Russian versions of the software is available

Intersed Ukraine, SolidWorks VAR in Ukraine was the first organization to join the beta program.
