Waltham, MA—AMC Bridge’s sixth D3D conference was held in a virtual format this year. While before it was a one-day offline event in the company’s largest development center city location—Dnipro, Ukraine—this October, speakers from different locations carried out online meetups on different days.

Despite the change of format, D3D 2020 Live presentations continued to cover a wide variety of topics, ranging from the COVID 19 pandemic’s impact on the IT Industry and Engineering Software to technical issues related to the usage of gaming technologies for solving problems in Architecture, Construction, and Facility management. Following the tradition of previous years, all the presentations were interactive: the conference participants asked the speakers questions during the Q&A session after each presentation.

AMC Bridge conducts the D3D event to inform the Ukraine IT community about new trends in Engineering Software, as well as to share technology insights from the projects conducted by the company’s teams. This year, a record number of registered participants and active Q&A sessions proved the continued relevance of the event.

“It is pretty clear by now that the pandemic accelerated the pace of IT innovation and the application of new, revolutionary IT technologies in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction. Multiple projects at AMC Bridge, started this year, are at the front end of those innovations. We hope to share the results of those implementations with the Ukrainian IT community during our next D3D in 2021”

said Igor Tsinman, President of AMC Bridge.
