“We Cannot Stand Still in Our Industry.” AMC Bridge Is Entering New Markets

Waltham, MA -

AMC Bridge has already opened an office in Polish Wroclaw and announced the intention to expand its presence in the global market. The head office of the company is in the USA. Also, AMC Bridge has offices in Poland, Ukraine, Germany, the UK, and a representative office in Japan. At the same time, we have started hiring in India and Uzbekistan; companies and employment opportunities in the countries of Latin America are considered.

The globalization of our company was in the long-term development plans of AMC Bridge. However, the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine and the economic crisis it caused forced us to reconsider the terms of that strategy implementation.

“After all, it is a natural process of the company growth. We cannot stand still in our industry. In 2000, the company consisted of three people and developed in Dnipro, later, offices in five Ukrainian cities appeared, and during the pandemic, we decided to hire employees throughout Ukraine. And so, now AMC Bridge is a team of almost 800 people. Hence, the next completely natural step is to scale up and enter new markets. And I cannot say that we are alone on this path. Globalization of IT companies created in Ukraine is a trend of recent years and an entirely logical step at a certain stage of business growth,” says Igor Tsinman, President of AMC Bridge.

During every crisis, the company focus has always been business sustainability. And with the beginning of the war, it became clear that advancing development centers only in Ukraine would not be enough to ensure stable company growth. We need to have more support points for that. So, the board of the company decided to start work on geographical expansion and business diversification. Only this way will the company be able to stay a reliable employer for team members and a stable partner for clients.

“As a company that provides services to major market players, we always act for business sustainability reasons. It is the expansion of global operations that guarantees the stable development of AMC Bridge and, therefore, our ability to continue fulfilling our obligations to clients and employees,” said Michael Ludensky, CEO & CFO of the company.

AMC Bridge does not leave the Ukrainian market and continues hiring specialists there. The Ukrainian team will stay the base and the source of the company expertise as it has always been. But to maintain and develop the team and to fulfill all obligations, the company must scale up.

“We have preserved our team in full during the pandemic, we are preserving the team during the war. It is the fundamental position of the company as an employer. At the same time, we provide services, so we understand well the concerns of existing and potential clients. Today Ukraine is at war, and our task is to guarantee uninterrupted services to clients. It is on the one hand. On the other hand—to create conditions in which team members continue working on client projects and can do what they are professionals at. The Going Global strategy and business diversification are the most effective way to achieve both goals,” says Igor Tsinman, President of AMC Bridge.

The Going Global strategy will also help the company stay a reliable partner for clients, both existing and possible.

“It is also quite obvious that concluding new contracts after russia’s invasion of Ukraine has become much more difficult. Let’s face it: potential clients will always beware of having developers in a war zone or beware of such a chance. And eventually, even after the end of the war, possible force majeure will be included in all subsequent contracts companies that have operations delivery centers in Ukraine for a long time. That’s because our northern neighbor will not go anywhere, unfortunately. And here, a logical question arises: will such cooperation be economically feasible, or will we remain competitive? Instead, even small teams outside of Ukraine will be able to “pick up” projects if needed, and in this way, we can bypass those risks and avoid losses,” states Igor Tsinman.

So, today AMC Bridge has hired the first employees in India, Uzbekistan, and Poland. At the same time, the company is actively exploring the markets of South America and Asian countries. Hence, it is gradually turning into a multinational company—President of AMC Bridge Igor Tsinman is convinced, “The process of the company becoming a global business is taking place. It is an advantage for all our team members. It increases the clients’ level of trust and strengthens their assurance that AMC Bridge is not only about expertise but also about stability, which gives the confidence to continue cooperation.”
