3DFeaturesTranslator™ from SOLIDWORKS® to Fusion 360™ is a technology demonstration of importing SOLIDWORKS models into Fusion 360 while preserving their original parametric features. It currently supports only part documents, but future versions are planned to support assemblies as well. 

3DFeaturesTranslator from SOLIDWORKS to Fusion 360 enables you to:

  • Export models from SOLIDWORKS into Fusion 360 using the JSON file.
  • Maintain and preserve the parametric features of the exported model.
  • Translate linear and radial dimensions, line segments, arcs, and circles of 2D sketches.
  • Use the Extrude, Revolve, and Cut-Extrude features or their combination.

Requirements:

  • Windows 7, 8.1, or 10 x64.
  • SOLIDWORKS 2016, 2017, 2018.
  • Autodesk Fusion 360.
