GPU-Accelerated Meshfree FEA is a technology demonstration of performing meshless finite element analysis on a GPU to improve and speed up performance compared to the CPU-based MFEA and make the system resilient to varying quality of the input mesh, including small features and self-intersections.
GPU-Accelerated Meshfree FEA offers the following functionality:
- Loading mesh
- Specifying preconditions (loads, restraints, and material)
- The ability to change resolution
- Voxelizing an input mesh surface and volume
- Solving a linear system
- Applying analysis results to the initial geometry
- Triangulating voxelized mesh and saving it in the VTU format
- Visualizing results using mesh colorization
- The ability to export benchmark results in the TXT format
Requirements:
- An NVIDIA® card supporting the CUDA® 11 platform
- The Windows® 10, 8.1, or 7 (64-bit version) operating system
