Dynamo Studio Wi-Fi Planner for DraftSight™ is a technology demonstration of modeling Wi-Fi coverage indoors using Dynamo Studio and performing computations based on a floor plan.

The technology demonstration extends the DraftSight functionality allowing users to export geometry from DraftSight to Dynamo Studio, perform mathematical computations of Wi-Fi distribution, and graphically represent the results in DraftSight.

Dynamo Studio Wi-Fi Planner demonstrates the following features:

  • Import of points, lines, and polylines to Dynamo Studio.
  • Export of points, lines, and polylines from Dynamo Studio.
  • Instant update of the imported geometry after changing the corresponding DraftSight geometry.
  • Instant update of the exported geometry after changing the corresponding Dynamo Studio workflow.
  • Saving and restoring files with DraftSight nodes.
