Partnerships

Waltham, MA—AMC Bridge, a global software development consultancy specializing in engineering, manufacturing, and construction, demonstrates its extensive expertise with Siemens PLM Components through its long‑standing work with clients across the engineering ecosystem. Building on more than a decade of collaboration with Siemens Digital Industries Software, the company has steadily deepened and expanded its capabilities. It now applies Parasolid®, D‑Cubed™, Kineo™, JT, and related toolkits to meet sustained market demand for high‑performance geometric modeling and CAD/CAM/CAE integration.

As engineering organizations accelerate product development while managing increasingly complex geometry, fragmented toolchains, and growing pressure to streamline design-to-manufacturing processes, demand for reliable component technologies continues to rise. Industry adoption reflects this trend: Parasolid alone supports more than 200 customers and an estimated 10 million design engineers worldwide.

Precision modeling and interoperability remain critical requirements across modern engineering initiatives, including additive manufacturing, medical devices, robotics, industrial equipment, and digital twin solutions.

To help clients meet these demands, AMC Bridge has expanded its work with Siemens PLM Components. The team applies Parasolid to advanced geometry operations, supports 3D comparison and validation tools, and enables pre‑ and post‑processing workflows for additive manufacturing. Kineo also continues to play an important role in motion analysis and collision detection in construction and automation domains.

The relationship with Siemens Digital Industries Software spans more than a decade, beginning with AMC Bridge’s work as a Siemens Solutions PLM Partner supporting Solid Edge users.

In 2014, the scope expanded to include Siemens PLM component technologies. Since then, the partnership has evolved to cover Parasolid, D‑Cubed, Kineo, the JT file format, Solid Edge OEM, Teamcenter®, and NX. Ongoing technical exchange, joint training programs, and direct collaboration have strengthened AMC Bridge’s engineering capabilities in these toolkits. Over the past years, AMC Bridge engineers have completed multiple advanced trainings delivered directly by Siemens PLM Components team. This has been reinforced by internal knowledge‑sharing and hands‑on project experience.

This depth of expertise is reflected in AMC Bridge’s delivery scale. The company has completed more than 150 projects using Siemens PLM Components and supported over 80 clients in this domain. Its global team includes 400+ engineers with specialized Siemens expertise. Across its broader portfolio, AMC Bridge has supported 350+ clients and maintains a 96% customer return rate and a 99% client recommendation rate.

This expertise reflects evolving client needs. Siemens PLM Components often form the foundation of the solutions AMC Bridge delivers, including drawing comparison, 3D model validation, CAD data migration, simulation and manufacturing workflows. These solutions are deployed in complex environments such as cloud-based AEC collaboration platforms, advanced manufacturing systems, and generative engineering applications, where interoperability, geometry reliability, and scalability are essential.

Strengthening capabilities in these areas helps reduce development time, improve modeling reliability, and create more efficient connections between design, simulation, and production.

“Our experience with core geometric modeling and engineering components, such as the Parasolid kernel, D‑Cubed constraint-solving technologies, and Siemens solutions like Kineo, has become essential to many of the applications we build,” said Boris Shoov, Executive Vice President of AMC Bridge. “For most of our clients, time to market is critical. When software components help reduce development time, the impact is immediate.”

He continued, “We value the partnership we have. It benefits all sides. Companies using Siemens components frequently turn to us for development support, and the solutions we deliver help them reach their goals more quickly. In turn, this supports the broader adoption of Siemens PLM Components across the industry.”

As digital engineering initiatives extend into automation, model-based validation, and specialized simulation and manufacturing environments, the need for experienced implementation partners continues to grow. Increasing complexity and data dependency require partners who can not only develop advanced tools but also integrate, scale, and sustain them across the full product lifecycle.

To meet these evolving demands, AMC Bridge extends its deep expertise with broader integration, data, and delivery capabilities that support end-to-end digital engineering initiatives. This work is concentrated in three key areas:

  • PLM and Product Implementation Services

AMC Bridge delivers integration and implementation support for PLM platforms, with experience across interconnected engineering systems such as Creo, Teamcenter, aPriori, Ansys, and others. The company focuses on strengthening digital continuity across CAD, PDM, PLM, and downstream enterprise systems. It ensures stable, production‑grade deployments with minimal workflow disruption. By connecting engineering environments with manufacturing and enterprise platforms, AMC Bridge enables consistent data flow and strengthens digital threads across the product lifecycle.

  • AI Data Readiness and Implementation

Organizations exploring AI in engineering often struggle with fragmented or inconsistent product data. AMC Bridge helps establish AI-ready PLM foundations by improving data interoperability, supporting governed digital threads, and enabling reliable analytics and reasoning across design, configuration, and manufacturing processes. These efforts focus on practical, integration‑driven steps. They ensure that AI initiatives are grounded in high‑quality, trusted data rather than speculative approaches.

  • Systems Engineering Consulting

Drawing on experience supporting systems engineering practices in highly regulated and multidisciplinary environments, AMC Bridge aligns product structures, configuration rules, and PLM processes with the needs of large, distributed engineering teams. This approach emphasizes clarity, traceability, and alignment with commercial and government program requirements. It helps organizations manage complexity while maintaining compliance across the product lifecycle.

Together, these capabilities help transform fragmented engineering environments into integrated, scalable digital ecosystems.
