Technology demonstration

Waltham, MA—As construction robotics is gaining traction in the industry, AMC Bridge is looking for technological approaches to help our clients on their way to automation and digitalization. The Robotic Construction Caulking for Autodesk Inventor® proof of concept (POC) demonstrates how robot-based sealant application to wall panels can be designed and simulated using the Autodesk Inventor® CAD package and Robotics Library™.

The POC utilizes the capabilities of the Autodesk Inventor® software and the features of the Robotics Library™ to implement panel recognition, set sealant parameters, and plan robot movements.

It allows users to upload wall panels, specify the sealant type, volume, and consumption, calculate and adjust the robot movement path and operation, as well as generate a PDF process report.

To see the current functionality of the Robotic Construction Caulking for Autodesk Inventor POC, watch a short demo video.
