Technology demonstration

Waltham, MA - Solar Farm Planner, a technology demonstration by AMC Bridge, developed for Autodesk BIM 360 Hackathon, is accepted for publishing on Autodesk App Store.

This concept demonstrates basic features for laying out a solar farm on an area of arbitrary profile selected on Google® Maps. Using Forge™ platform, it is integrated with Autodesk® BIM 360® allowing users to better collaborate on projects.

The project met the development and publishing requirements specified by Autodesk and will be available on Autodesk App Store BIM 360. Please watch the following demo-video to see this application in action: https://youtu.be/kp-y7UnwAnU.

  • Construction Takeoff Automation for Civil 3D Using Procore: AMC Bridge Releases a New Technology Demonstration

AMC Bridge’s Civil 3D® takeoff using Procore® Budget integration shows a way to automate the construction takeoff process. It demonstrates how to seamlessly transfer a Civil 3D Bill of Materials (BOM) to Procore Budget. Connecting BIM authoring tool with Budget application improves the takeoff workflow by enhancing accuracy, as it eliminates the need for manual data entry and reduces the risk of errors. It increases the fidelity of the construction project cost estimation by ensuring that the latest BIM data is reflected in the project’s budget.
  • Cesium Opens More Doors for Unreal Into AEC

The arrival of the Cesium for Unreal plug-in is fairly recent. It was announced last March and became officially available in April 2021, but the ability to work with large geospatial models in the Unreal game engine is a snowball rolling downhill. The alliance between Cesium and Unreal means that the Unreal Engine supports the open format 3D Tiles pioneered by Cesium, which opens up new possibilities for companies bringing their data into Unreal to create compelling visualizations.
  • Supporting Innovations: AMC Bridge Connects Unreal Engine with Autodesk Revit

Regularly researching the innovative ways to review and present CAD data, AMC Bridge developed Walk-Through-3D™ on Unreal® for Autodesk® Revit®, a technology demonstration of binding Unreal® Engine and Autodesk® Revit®. Walk-Through-3D on Unreal for Autodesk Revit allows its users to save the 3D model geometry created in Revit as a self-executing file in Unreal, and then view it in the 3D first- and third-person viewing modes as well as in flying mode.
  • AMC Bridge Presents a New Technology Demonstration: FloorPlanMaster

AMC Bridge presents FloorPlanMaster™, a technology demonstration that enables users to automatically create a simple 2D floor plan of a given room, export it to a CAD format, and then view its 3D representation. With FloorPlanMaster, users can wirelessly connect to a Leica™ Laser Distance Measurer, obtain room measurements from it, and have them represented as a 2D plan. It also enables editing the measurements manually and exporting the resulting plan to a CAD format to view the 3D model of the room in either Autodesk Forge™ Viewer or ViewER™.
  • Move Objects and Edit Materials, Colors, and Textures in Unity with Walk-Through-3D for Autodesk Revit 5.0

AMC Bridge introduces new features to Walk-Through-3D™ for Autodesk® Revit®, a technology demonstration of connecting Revit® and the Unity™ game development platform. The technology demonstration enables exporting 3D model geometry to Unity to provide a first-person 3D shooter game-like experience while using a Revit model as a 3D environment. In the updated version of Walk-Through-3D for Autodesk Revit, you can move objects in a 3D environment, change their material, texture, or color, as well as save or undo the changes you applied.
  • AMC Bridge Releases Updated CADtoEarth for Autodesk Revit

Following the latest technology trends, AMC Bridge has released an enhanced web version of the CADtoEarth™ technology demonstration and an updated prototype for Autodesk® Revit®. The new web part of CADtoEarth, based on the latest version of Cesium®, presents users with the new design, which has been rewritten from scratch. The technology demonstration is integrated with Autodesk Forge™ and Google Drive™ and provides more opportunities for individual control over the visibility of uploaded data.
