CADtoEarth is an exciting new application for SolidWorks users who model objects that need to be positioned at a specific geographical location. Anything that you can build in SolidWorks, you can now place at a specified location on Earth, whether it is a plant, a building, an extension to your house, or the car of your dream on your driveway. Bi-directional nature of the tool provides the capability to incorporate the profile of the terrain in your specified location into the SolidWorks session and take it into considering while designing the models. In addition to the very powerful 3D capabilities with Google Earth, the add-in also provides an innovative way to use 2D data for interactions with Google Maps.
