AMC Bridge Explores AR Rendering with the C-Through-AR Technology Demonstration

Waltham, MA—Constantly researching modern technologies and their potential applications for Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction, AMC Bridge presents C-Through-AR, a new technology demonstration of viewing the CAD model’s content in AR, including its invisible parts.

With C-Through-AR, users can start the process of rendering a CAD model over a real setup to reveal certain objects that are present on the CAD model but can’t be seen because they either don’t exist yet or are hidden. Besides, the functionality of the technology demonstration allows selecting the desired layers of the model to easily navigate between rendered parts.

Developed for Android™ devices, C-Through-AR demonstrates visualization of either floorplans in construction projects or routine objects in a room, house, or another environment.
