Technology demonstration

Waltham, MA—Accurate cost estimation is an important element of project success, particularly in the AEC industry. Researching ways to help contractors leverage digital transformation opportunities to optimize cost estimations, AMC Bridge has developed a brand-new technology demonstration—Price Configurator for Autodesk® Revit® on Unreal®.

The technology demonstration establishes a bidirectional connection between the Autodesk® BIM 360® platform and Autodesk® Revit® software, converts CAD models to binary files, and connects BIM 360 to the Unreal® Engine 3D creation tool.

With Price Configurator for Autodesk Revit on Unreal, users can export and import project costs data between Autodesk Revit and BIM 360, view the model and item costs in 3D using Unreal Engine, and make on-the-spot cost editing. The cost changes made in the Unreal Engine environment will be automatically updated in BIM 360 and vice versa.

To see the current functionality of the Price Configurator for Autodesk Revit on Unreal technology demonstration, watch a short demo video.

If you are interested in learning more about the demonstrated technologies and how they can be utilized for your organization’s needs, please contact us to discuss the details.
