Technology demonstration

Waltham, MA—Searching for tools that could optimize spatial arrangements, prevent costly rework and delays, and help make informed decisions in the construction, architecture, real estate, and facility management industries, AMC Bridge has created a new technology demonstration that leverages machine learning to compare architectural designs and their actual implementation on site. Construction Quality and Progress Checker can detect discrepancies and assist in quality control and planning.

By employing object recognition techniques, the prototype seamlessly recognizes various objects in the surrounding area, compares them to a plan designed in the Autodesk® Revit® BIM software, and offers visualizations that display the analysis results.

Construction Quality and Progress Checker demonstrates a capability to identify deviations from the design early on, ensuring the construction is moving in the right direction and avoiding expensive rework and building slow-downs. Moreover, the technology demonstration can help resolve the inaccurate measurement problem and reduce the time and effort required for manual measurements.

To see the Construction Quality and Progress Checker technology demonstration in action, watch a short demo video.
