Waltham, MA—A month has passed since all Ukrainians woke up in a horrible new reality. Most people who found safe places for their relatives and themselves get back to the daily routine and are ready to continue working to support the economy during the war. The AMC Bridge team is no exception. Our teammates came back to work almost completely.

During the last month, about one-third of the AMC Bridge specialists temporarily sheltered in other regions of Ukraine or went abroad. As of now, there are some isolated cases when the colleagues are still moving to different safe places; therefore, the company is operated in its usual manner. According to the internal survey results, over 95% of our team members have the ability and favorable conditions to work.

“Today, almost all AMC Bridge specialists work a full workweek. They gradually get back to their normal rhythm of work, current procedures, and processes. Considering the conditions in which Ukrainians should live now, of course, our teams are still on the way to achieving their maximum performance. But it’s a natural state of affairs. What’s more, currently, our clients are also tolerant of the situation.”—says Vadym Synakh, AMC Bridge COO.

As of March 24, 90% of AMC Bridge employees remain in Ukraine. It means that in times of a full-scale war, the team can face many emergency-related situations in which it is impossible to work. Thus, the company ensured the possibility to compensate the force majeure hours. Along with that, the company management encourages the team to complete those hours later on at their convenience so that the clients continue receiving the services in full.

In March, the company suspended all VHS policies according to which the colleagues could take vacation, sick, and holiday hours. Those changes are implemented to guarantee a stable operation of the company and continue paying salaries to those employees who joined Military Forces or Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine and cannot work right now.

“I am grateful to the AMC Bridge team that we continue working productively and support our country, clients, and each other despite such difficult circumstances.”—adds Igor Tsinman, AMC Bridge President.

According to Igor, even during the period when russia has started a full-scale war against Ukraine, AMC Bridge wins new opportunities, and the existing clients continue working with the company.
