Expanding Integration Capabilities to Navisworks and Revit: AMC Bridge Publishes a New Case Study

Waltham, MA—With an array of exceptional CAD services the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry offers nowadays, it is essential to continuously upgrade your product not to miss valuable business opportunities, which may be lost even because of the absence of relevant CAD file support in a system. Constantly researching modern technologies and acquiring greater experience through their practical application, AMC Bridge took on a challenge to equip the client with a brand-new plug-in for Autodesk® Navisworks® model review software and an enhanced plug-in for Autodesk® Revit® building information modeling software.

Realizing that CAD interoperability is critical in today’s multi-CAD world, the client turned to AMC Bridge to create a fully functional plug-in for Navisworks and improve a plug-in for Autodesk’s Revit software, which they already had. To satisfy products’ end users, the plug-ins were expected to ensure faster export results, more stable performance, and quality.

Relying on a proven track record of successful CAD interoperability projects and an extensive knowledge of various CAD systems, including Navisworks and Revit, the client entrusted AMC Bridge to deliver the products that would unlock the value for the client’s end users.

As a result, the AMC Bridge team has developed a fast and stable Navisworks plug-in and redesigned a Revit plug-in. Both of them allow users to directly import 3D models and their BIM data into VR. Overall, AMC Bridge has offered greater stability and import quality to the solutions.

Through collaboration with AMC Bridge, the client has gained robust, fully functional plug-ins accompanied by professional support and enhanced product capabilities aimed at expanding and diversifying the number of products’ end users and reliable partners.
