Technology demonstration

Exploring immersive experience when creating digitized 3D replicas of real-world objects, AMC Bridge releases Photos-to-3D Converter, a Forge-based technology demonstration of generating a 3D model from a collection of photos captured on a smartphone.

Interacting with the Autodesk Forge™ Reality Capture API, the technology demonstration allows users to create a photoscene, upload the selected images to it, and view the resulting 3D model automatically saved in A360™ storage. The functionality of the technology demonstration also enables users to review model parameters and share the 3D model via available document sharing applications.

Watch a short demo video to see the Photos-to-3D Converter technology demonstration in action.

If you are interested in learning more about the demonstrated technologies and how they can be utilized for your organization’s needs, please contact us to discuss the details.

  • Data Conversion from the Mechanical CAD System to BIM in the New AMC Bridge Technology Demo

The demand for digital product data in the construction sector is accelerating faster than ever. Its driving factors, among others, are increasing adoption of building information modeling (BIM), legal requirements for product traceability, and commercial pressure to deliver fully specified technical designs of projects quicker and error-free. However, architects and mechanical engineers have different design needs, resulting in varying and often non-compatible CAD tools and file formats. AMC Bridge suggests one example of a workable solution for that problem in the CAD-to-BIM Translator technology demonstration.
