Waltham, MA—The war in Ukraine will change our lives forever, and we will have to adjust to new conditions. But today, we all have to look at what we can do to defy the brutal assault on peace and stability in Europe and help Ukraine and Ukrainian citizens who are literally fighting for Europe on the front line.

The software development community in Ukraine is in a unique position to be able to continue providing services to international clients due to the nature of work it does. That allows the Ukrainian IT professionals to generate income for their families and effectively support the local economy, compensating the losses of the Ukrainian industry since a large part of the population cannot work. To some extent, the ability to work might be more sustaining help for those who can work than monetary donations, which are for sure greatly appreciated. It provides structure, focus, purpose, and at the same time funds for the Ukrainian economy.

With all that in mind, we appeal to the companies that could benefit from expert software development services but were hesitant to cooperate in the past or didn’t have such reservations and are willing to engage now—Ukrainians are eager and capable to help.

If you consider relocating sourcing for your software development services from Russia or Belarus to other parts of the world or plan to use external development help, please consider engaging vendors with Ukraine-based development resources.
