AMC Bridge released Cloud Render: CAD add-in

AMC Bridge released Cloud Render 1.0 - add-in to SolidWorks, which offers physically based rendering of 3D models on the Microsoft Windows Azure cloud platform. Physically based rendering provides images of much higher fidelity, but requires significant computational resources. That is why traditionally it is been outside the reach of the mainstream 3D mechanical CAD community and has been primarily used in digital art and entertainment industry. Cloud Render add-in provides an access to huge computational resources on the Windows Azure cloud platform and gives some interesting new opportunities to the CAD users.

The new version of iProperties plug-in for Autodesk Inventor now is available via Autodesk Exchange Apps. iProperties Import Tool is an Autodesk Inventor plug-in application that provides the capability to import SolidWorks custom and configuration specific properties, as well as summary data, into Inventor models. The new version supports Autodesk Inventor 2013, has improved user interface and works without pre-installed SolidWorks software.

AMC Bridge developers won DOU Hackathon!

The team of AMC Bridge developers won DOU Hackathon held in Kiev on April 28-29 with the project Motion.Works. During 24 hours our programmers developed a SolidWorks add-in which allows positioning of a specially designed human model via skeletal tracking provided by Kinect for Windows. The add-in enables to conduct an ergonomic study of the equipment designed in SolidWorks.
