Technology demonstration

Known for its extensive research and expertise in creating connections between multiple modeling and data management systems, AMC Bridge developed SW PDF Creator for Autodesk® Vault® — a new technology demonstration of converting SolidWorks® drawing files into PDF using Autodesk Vault Job Processor.

SW PDF Creator for Autodesk Vault allows the Autodesk Vault PLM system users to handle PDF creation for Autodesk Vault drawing documents, including registering, storing, and attaching them to the parent drawing.

To see the functionality of the SW PDF Creator for Autodesk Vault technology demonstration, watch a short demo video.

  • Data Conversion from the Mechanical CAD System to BIM in the New AMC Bridge Technology Demo

The demand for digital product data in the construction sector is accelerating faster than ever. Its driving factors, among others, are increasing adoption of building information modeling (BIM), legal requirements for product traceability, and commercial pressure to deliver fully specified technical designs of projects quicker and error-free. However, architects and mechanical engineers have different design needs, resulting in varying and often non-compatible CAD tools and file formats. AMC Bridge suggests one example of a workable solution for that problem in the CAD-to-BIM Translator technology demonstration.
