Case study

Waltham, MA - AMC Bridge, a leading global software development consultancy, proudly announces the successful delivery of its software development services for a multinational Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) solution provider. By digitally transforming their HVAC sales pipeline, the implemented project has significantly reduced costs, streamlined sales operations, and accelerated proposal preparation, leading to enhanced efficiency and remarkable time savings.

Understanding the criticality of efficient customer interactions, the client identified the automation and streamlining of their proposal preparation process as vital for achieving business success. Recognizing AMC Bridge’s proven history of delivering complex software solutions and extensive expertise in leveraging cutting-edge technologies, the client found an ideal partner in AMC Bridge for this ambitious digital transformation endeavor.

The client envisioned the development of an application that would empower their sales engineers to generate a 3D scene from a 2D floor plan swiftly, set up HVAC equipment on the scene, and validate the project using advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations.

The successful development of the application required the seamless integration of the client’s unique domain-specific expertise with AMC Bridge’s established proficiency in delivering cross-platform solutions. AMC Bridge undertook the solution development from scratch in response to the specified requirements. The collaborative efforts fruited in creating a robust and sophisticated software solution tailored to the HVAC provider’s unique needs.

The solution included a progressive web application with an intuitive UI on the front end and an HVAC simulation cluster on the back end to facilitate accurate and efficient computational analysis.

The Discovery phase was pivotal in the successful project completion. Having meticulously analyzed the client’s business and technical requirements, the AMC Bridge team created a comprehensive functional specification that served as a roadmap for the development process, ensuring all project aspects aligned with the client’s goals and expectations. The thoroughness of the Discovery phase laid a solid foundation for the subsequent stages of development, ultimately contributing to the project’s overall success.

The collaborative efforts between AMC Bridge and the client yielded numerous benefits for the client, including:

  • Fully automated CFD simulations of HVAC project proposals accompanied by easily understandable reports, lowering technical qualification requirements for preparing proposals and equipment-placing schemes.
  • Reduction in proposal cost, iterations, and delivery time, optimizing efficiency and saving valuable resources.
  • Immediate on-site generation of valid proposals, enabling the client to provide reliable solutions to their customers timely.

These benefits showcase the positive impact of the software development services provided by AMC Bridge on the client’s operations, emphasizing improved accuracy, cost savings, and enhanced responsiveness in their proposal process.
