RANDOLPH, NJ—AMC Bridge has released CADtoEarth 2.1, a new version of its add-in for Autodesk Revit 2014. This release extends a family of add-ins that establish a bi-directional connection between CAD environments and Google Earth or Google Maps.
The new version is available at the Autodesk Exchange Apps Store and supports both Autodesk Revit 2013 and Autodesk Revit 2014. The latest version of the app includes these new features:
- The ability to apply satellite imagery to the imported Google Earth surface
- 3D model exports with applied textures
- Added notification about plug-in updates
